After trawling the internets, I found this soloution on steam’s forums:
The Corrupted file in question is mp_playlists.ff which is located in Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\zone\english folder. Go there, delete the file or move it elsewhere (size is 27kb) and the game will download the file and huzzah! No more lame freezes

YAY JUSTGOT POWER BACK FROM BLACK OUT!!! YAY! Now back to aimlessly surfing the internets.
Went to church today with those two. It wasn’t as far as I thought, probably about a 15 min drive from my place. Strange, I had always thought that was a Korean christian church, but turns out its Chinese. meh. Anyway.
Decided to go to pacific fair and my Aunties restaurant today 
The drive took an hour, though I could almost swear it was 40 min at the MOST last time me and Eva went..strange.
9:15: Josh and Eva leave Eva’s house and head towards the airport to pick up Vicky.
